hmmm, blog has been a little quiet... oh well, 3 months into my new job! fast, it is. enjoyed the working environment with fun colleagues around despite the rather heavy workload and i esp love the early knock offs and after-work chill outs!

extracted my ever first wisdom tooth, underwent a minor surgery for that! thought that i might lose some weight from not eating solid food but i started eating like carrot cake the third day so yepp, still fat! i need to work out more more more (chants)!

hmmm i realised i haven been blogging much...looking back at the previous entries really do give me a nostalgic feeling...oh well, time really flies and many things have changed. I am now in stand chart doing ops, totally different from what i have been doing in ocbc, like one front end and one totally back end, shall just give it a try since i am so tired of sales already. Today marks the fourth day at work and ops working hours is really madness. Have been working till late everyday and apparently is a norm. guess what, is located at changi business park(zzz at travelling). i really do see a lot of airplanes fly past everyday:) i shall press on! adapting is always the hard part, trying to know your colleagues well, learn new stuff at a fast pace, getting used to the working hours and such!!! sometimes i feel really draggy after so long at work and like there is not much social life for me anymore (not that i have a happening one in the first place), but yeah, i miss my friends!a lot esp at work now:( weekends please! I shan't complain much, every job has its pros and cons.

i just rebonded my hair for cny! not much difference though when i spend a freaking 200 bucks(next target:at least go and perm my freaking hair lol). oh and did i say i love cny like how i love my birthday! i think i love cny more! i am so looking fwd to wed:) please come quick!

speaking of my birthday, i am turning 23 VERY SOON! -_- FTW or FML?

hmm my blog is relived again!:)

happy one year to my blog! one year has passed, meaning one year since my attachment, one year since i last rebonded my hair... ...

ups and downs at work and i cannot be very, very demoralised at times:( but things seem to get better by the day, hope it stays this way! :) when i am feeling down, random smileys, quotes and sketches on my little purple book cheers me up <3 go joyce go!:)

hmm been thinking about life in general...i guess i will go for the audition and give it a shot, like my dad always says, just go for the experience when you are young man! haha

alright, if you really want to know the answer, you can always ask me directly. but all i can say is that i do not really know how to relate to you anymore, like the past semester, i seriously confided in you my deepest secret cos i thought deep down in my heart, maybe you could help me a little, hint to him a little just like how i will try to help you and things like that. cos u know i could not tell anyone around me for things might be awkward eventually. okie, and now, i feel kinda ashamed when i see you cos i dun know why but i felt betrayed, okie maybe betrayed is too serious a word but something along that line, just an unexplainable feeling. honestly, i do not want myself to dislike you and i would want us to laugh and talk like we normally do again. perhaps there are like some misunderstandings?maybe?

hmmm, is officially the second week into work! first week was rather mundane with orientation, training and test! yeah and i am the only newbie in my team, have to make it a point to try to interact with the seniors and learn from them, oh well, work is like that and i tink i just have to get used to it. trying hard to adapt to the working life, coping with the stress of my job, wearing heels to work, communicate with people and of course to source for nice makan places!:) food rawks!

enough of work, i am going genting coming fri to sun! great to catch a breather at this time! yay!

i am back from china! i have so much to blog about! i am really missing the sino trip badly! i miss how we became great pals after two weeks when we were only strangers on the very first day, i miss our late night partying and dancing, drinking like there is no tomorrow, i miss how we conquered the great wall, how we wandered on foot, i miss how we can talk through the night and day and the occasional gossips, i miss going for massage together, i miss you.

this sem has officially ended.
very meaningful indeed.
endured the fyp with fyprets,
did my final examinations and projects,
fell in and out of love,
worked out a production,
and many more.

now i am embarking on the next phase of my life,
anxious, scared, worried, excited,
i am.
whatever it is,

and we all heard and raved about wild honey-the quaint-looking, cosy little cafe which has 15 different breakfast sets to choose from (each set is of a different country origin) and the thing that attracts is that their breakfast sets are sold all day! we went there on sat and waited for an hour to get seated but trust me, is totally worth the wait!

After my first paper, I have been slacking till now...as if exams are over for me!which is bad cos i will be super duper stressed up whenever i try to finish my revision at the very last minute:(
yeah and been shopping, watching tv and slacking for the past few days:) on a lighter note, glad that mummy loves the bag and tops on her bday! and is time to shop for my sis's bday!:D goodwood park hotel's durian puffs are really loves! bought them at a roadshow in j8 yesterday! totally spells w-o-n-d-e-r-s!:) I will end my paper on the 6th and am flying off to china on the 12th, hope i can catch up with all my friends before i fly off cos it will be a whole 16 days in china! hmm, first time spending such a long time overseas and travelling with people i dun really know...many,many xiao long baos, here i come! hahaha..and i wanna k badly after exams! been singing like nobody's business at home..LOL

watched clash of the titans with family last week . thought the plot and effects were average,not very bombastic but interesting though. and some of the scenes were somewhat similar to 300. like there is this familiarity in them.

and watched how to train your dragon yesterday with chiok and jason yesterday:) supp to be a celebratory outing for end of 311 but hy could not make it in the end. sigh. but anw the movie was awesome! I totally fell in love with TOOTHLESS! awwww, how cute! i think cartoons have the wonders and charm to make girls melt and everything! really! played jia jia le after that and jason caught a red dragon! how apt right:)

had my last presentation in ntu yesterday!:) yeah cos of the dried chickenpox scabs on my face, super self conscious the whole day and when it came to my presentation, seems that all eyes are on me, felt terribly paiseh (dug a hole)! haha..that apart, had a REALLY great time doing 311 with jason, huiying and chiok!:) they are really cool beans! we are gonna to have a celebratory 311 outing next week!:)

hmmm, is been abt one week..yeah one entire week stuck at home cos of chickenpox:( and yes, one more week to go...having chickenpox is really no joke:( apart from the itchy spots which is way minor, i was down with a constant 39.3 degree fever for a few days, raging headache and had to nurse a really bad sorethroat, dun know why i felt so unwell that i almost fainted in the kitchen one of the days...yeah and tears somehow just welled up subconsciously:'( that was a few days ago, am feeling much better now!:) thanks peeps who smsed, emailed,msned and fb me! the get well soon messages really do make my day happier:)
hmm, cannot help it but wonder why some pple did not ask abt me or just drop me a simple sms, i thought we are good frens to begin with? just disappointing, maybe sad...

and yeah, had to skip my grandma's bday dinner and stay home today! been looking forward to the good food actually, oh well! the day will come, it shall be:) shall upload some overdue pictures from the sino exchange dinner and haier's bday celebration soon:D

and i tink i am going to have a mega 突破 next week. cos i am going to be lifted up singing 夜上海 along the aisle of the hotel's ballroom for the sino dinner next tue. damn paiseh cos all the smu and nus students will be there too! another guy will be acting as a drag queen (he is seriously zai!), another as lady gaga with the black tapes stuck on his body, another as gangster and so on. basically all 13 of us are putting up a lame skit for the dinner (making it bombastic with smoke machine and confetti spray). wonder what nus and smu will think of us after that! and i have to come back to ntu to rehearse on a SUNDAY afternoon!hear the deep grumble in me:(((

another 突破 will be doing a 舞曲 with muffins in hall 15's international food fest!ha ha ha tink will be quite fun cos all of us are doing it together:D have dresscode somemore, cool eh! lol

submission will be on monday which is 3 days away! really, really hope we can do well in it.

and i went to watch alice in wonderland with lydia last sat. honestly i thought the plot will be quite dark and morbid cos of the trailer but it was alright afterall. somemore have educational elements and "moral of the story", expected of disney films..haha,now i know the story of alice in wonderland, heh! never read about the story when i was young, only had the impression that the soldiers are poker cards. lol

and this is the nice official song of the movie.

after which, we went to try the newly-opened dessert shop in vivo which has received a lot gd reviews acc to lydia.

we ordered the same dessert which look super delicious: mango with glutinous rice in vanilla:) it tastes like the Thai mango glutinous rice and the combi of mango with nuo mi and vanilla is awesome,totally owned by it! (melts) shall go back one day and try their other specialties:)

hall prod is in 2 days time! full dress at RP everyday this week! though we are all very tired but i am still very happy cos i got the chance to participate in hall prod which i have always wanted to do! and everyone of us have been putting in a lot of effort for it:) just two more days, hang on:D

big feast with all my relatives on sunday! daddykins and mummykins really know how to choose nice dishes:D and my aunt actually bought a cake secretly for me and all my relatives then sang me a bday song. as quoted from my aunt, it really feels like i am having a 21st bday party when u see all ya relatives and cousins gathered tog for ya bday:) touched maxs!

rushed back to ntu for rehearsal after that. happened to be kj's and cy's bday so all of us took turns to sing bday song for one another with kj's cake:D lol

come next day in which i had a simple yet very heartwarming celebration with family:) and yepp is blackforest cake again! LOL

after that, i went back hall to celebrate with muffins!:) tho the mixtures and concoctions are really gross (esp the dragonfruit with garlic chilli and mussels with gross juice, my gosh, i actually stomached them in!lol), i am still very touched by the celebration, the presents, the totally funny and original video and of course, the friends!:) thankks muffins for the celebration and the effort u all put in! u all made my 22nd so happy and meaningful!

just ended my first full dress rehearsal. strange but true enough, i always have hunger spangs after every rehearsal and will try to rumage for food in hall...heh..next few rehearsals will be the same kind of full dress which means full make up and speedlight costume changing but since is gonna be the production day soon, i shan't rant anymore. heee

am going house visiting tmr and cant wait for all my relatives to visit my house on sunday:) dad has ordered a spread for them at this famous zi char restaurant:) yums!

sometimes u just have to take a step backward, breathe and feel that the world is indeed wonderful:)why make simple things appear so difficult? what u yearn for is an answer at the end of the tunnel but what if there is not a single echo at all? Waiting is painful, forgetting is painful but not knowing which to do is actually the worse...Love, some people say it is sweet, some say it is sour, some treasure it, some say it brings bitterness, some keep waiting for something, some built it all over again over the ruined one, some says it takes two to make it happen and some keep it a secret.

was over at some restaurant in amk celebrating my grandfather's 82nd bday!:) i always feel very happy and comforted when i see my extended family gathered together for a celebratory dinner. just like cny house visiting, life's simple joys and pleasures:D but a bit sad cos i have hall prod full run which cannot be missed, so after eating the longevity buns and longevity noodles, it was already 8.30pm:( had no choice but to cab back to ntu after the two dishes. mad rush and was kinda upset on the way back. like why can't they put themselves in my shoes and be a bit more understanding:( arghh

i dun like pretentious people, alright who likes right. never knew this female fren of mine whom i thought so innocent, petite and adorable has such a pretentious side in her! just knew about all her secretive actions and honestly kinda disgusted. like i have always thought she is such a genuine and caring person! tink many of us will look at her in a different light now.

i feel the festive mood coming!!woohoo, especially so when my mum loves to tune in to FM97.2 in which they will play a cny song like every 10min..haha!:) heh, i still haven learn to make the "gok zai" from my grandma.soon soon.

due to mere 2 hr of sleep, am majorly tired today! felt so groggy and disoriented for the whole day! am quite glad that i survived my 3 hr seminar (in which my prof speaks in monotone), fyp meetings, cesim meetings and one lecture. BUT i did fall asleep in front of my prof during the 3 hr seminar:(

having a quiz next week, fyp and more fyp, cesim, rehearsals and the list continues on and on...heh,nuff of rantings cos chinese new year is coming, my favourite time of the year!!:) woohoo!

went to sunset grill for the very first time to celebrate gj bday!:) the place is super ulu but quite cool to have it in the middle of the airbase. and yes! we tried the legendary buffalo wings:) level 10 and 30. as for level 30, shall sum it all up with painful expressions, sudden trips to the toilets and the desperate grabbing of milk, beer, mayo and ice available! really pei fu those who tried the entire wing! applaud! but nontheless, a bday blast(literally)!:)

what did i do in a free day today..shopping!:D i will usually do my own nails which will take forever.haha but i went for my ever first menicure today! i settled for baby pink while kelly went ahead with her dark purple. felt quite pampered actually!haha. also bought an embellished hairband and some other stuff. guess is bread and water for the rest of the week!lol

back to school tmr:)) hope i can get my elective soon!

was totally not in the mood for sch tmr until i realised i could swop index with one fren who wanted my index:) means my mondays are free. can u imagine the bursting happiness in me!wahaha...but sadly, i still have to settle my elective cos i was allocated none:( grrrr. oh well, sch is officially starting tmr and i am especially emo this time round cos is my final sem:( i still rmb the very first day of my uni life 2 and half years back, everything was so unfamiliar for me, the school, the courses, the pple around me, basically everything. and the entire unfamiliarity made me want to graduate soonest, cos of the usual escapism.heh!
i guess this kind of feeling will rediscover itself again and again at every different phase of my life and once i am adapted to the new environment, i know i will be fine. like i have always been through. yeah, this is it, there is this huge part of me missing sch life, missing sch food, missing hanging out with sch frens in between major long breaks. hmmpf

went shopping in town for the past 2 days. bought flats and a couple of dresses:) oh and i would want to highlight this super chewy korean riceballs and the takoballs from ion orchard (believe me, is the best takoballs i've ever tried!)
is really nice to have frens lending me their ears while i pour my worries and secrets to them. i feel so blessed to have them beside me comforting me, giving me advice or simply just lending their ears to me. they are like precious candygems and i would never want to lose them:D and speaking of which, thanks twin and jeri for ya hand-made cards! u know i loveee them!

i suddenly got reminded of this irritating person who is like the mega kiasu-maniac in the whole wide world. relax lah dude!!!

bafc chalet was at nsrcc and the chalets there are really spacious and clean, way better than those i have been to. i made jellies for potluck and not that i want to boast, but the jellies are really well-received. lol... jeri drove me there and back with our rented car:) motivated me even more to learn driving, it seems pretty thrilling to speed along expressways. just like mario kart and daytona.lol!

brings me back to the stuff i would want to try: cable skiing, snorkelling or scuba diving and roller blading (yes, i never roller blade before). thats it for the list now, more to come:) oh and maybe prawning (seems fun).

am feeling the gitters for my bloomberg event later. woof!

P.S: a year, the previous random postscripts on giving up and such are not very well fulfilled indeed. they are like futile attempts and emotional rollercoasters. call it stupidity or plain innocence. the classic truth will always remain. that is never hold on to things that were not yours in the first place. follow the classic truth and will never go wrong.

have to make every single day worthwhile this week cos it is the last week of holidays!!(growls) that means meetups, outings and more outings!:) and i watched avatar and chipmunks! regretted not watching avatar in 3D:( the effects are superb! and cos i watched so many different trailers of chipmunks, i kinda anticipated the scenes during the show! lesson learnt, dun be lame and watched the trailerSSS when i am gonna watched the movie the next day! lol but theodore still rawks!:)

on a side note, jeri will be driving me for the first time tmr! lol. will be heading to some national service club for bafc bbq and potluck! gonna be funn!:) but the thing is i haven prepare anything for potluck YET. lol

is a small world afterall. was super taken aback when i realised my st nicks junior aka my neighbour who stays directly above me is actually my hall's 2009 prom queen! gosh, to think i never realised it, okie maybe i did notice the resemblance just that it did not occur to me that is her afterall!!cos she seems such a quiet and reserved girl to me, one who would never join a pageant but is a good thing lah, shows that people grow up for the better:)and she is my stage manager now!:Dheh

have been going for rehearsals for the past few days...not totally on form for the role yet:( will try my best for it and hope it will get better. nonetheless, ng scenes with the peeps are undoubtedly hilarious and rehearsals are rather fun!:) ha, after rehearsal today, i was super tired and conked out on the bus to boon lay interchange and guess what, the bus driver woke me up from my sleep :S SUPER embarrassing when i got down the bus which was already parked at the interchange!

and yes, i am so gonna catch these two movies!:) awww, the chipmunks and the chipettes!

i am back from taiwan panorama!:)) dun feel like coming back actually cos is uber fun, everyday is like eat, shop and nap on bus rides from one destination to another. heh and guess what, i toured the WHOLE of taiwan within 8 days.initially thought was just a couple of places like tainan and kaoshiung. lol. and is really quite cold in taiwan like below 10 degrees everyday and the frequent gusts of cold wind literally freezes me. a bit dumb of me to bring just a normal jacket and flats ( cos i really thought 10 degrees is bearable!). luckily my aunt lent me her coat and dad bought me new pair of sports shoes:D around taiwan in 8 days...

day 1: upon arrival, went to keelung night market at taoyuan. all of us were so not accustomed to the cold temperature and it did not help with the heavy drizzle. we combed and bought food like hot crab soup, hot ginger soup with fen yuan, hot sticky rice and hot egg balls. fen yuan (chewy balls made from yam and sweet potatoes) is like taiwan's specialty and i see it in every night market.oh, i tried bing tang hu lu as well! (uber sweet)

day2: went to chiufen and bought a lot of local specialties like mochi and plums. then headed over to hualien via a train ride for all the sightseeing of natures' beauty. the scenery is magnifique and the air is so fresh and nice:)) afterwhich, we went to a village to release the heavenly lanterns. the laterns were huge (much bigger than the ones released during hall's mid autumn) and all the laterns have a sparkler attached as the tail. one word: heartwarming:)

day3: travelled to taidong for sightseeing and yet again, breathtaking! tried the kao di gua(roasted sweet potatoes) and popiah ice cream there.niceee!!then hopped over to chihpen hotel to bao wen quan:) the wen quan was 42 degrees and is really scorching when first entered! but after a few minutes, is uber, duper, super shiok and relaxing esp in the cold weather, love wen quan max but singapore dun have:(
P.S: we escaped the 6.7 earthquake in hualien on that day!phew

day4: to kaoshiung for a lot more sightseeing and shopping at dream mall. then headed to liuhe night market:) went hysterical over the wide array of taiwan's specialties! tried a lot of food like cong you bing, fen yuan with tao huay, papaya milk, fried potatoes balls and seafood porridge. upon reaching the hotel, took a cab ourselves to xin jue qiang for more shopping!

day5: over to tainan and visited fo guang shan and the pearl culture centre. (if u realised, the itinerary is like 70% sightseeing:D) then proceeded to dakeng recreational farm for a farm stayover. saw many cute piglets and chicks over there and after trekking up a hill, i tried their (modified version) sitting kind of flying fox:) fun

day6: first we went to jianfusun fancy world amusement park! i tried all the thrilling rides except the G5 (the vertical drop roller coaster), really madness lah! lol. then more sightseeing at tainan and proceeded to taizhong for their famous fengjia night market:)

day7: last spot in taiwan: taipei !and woohoo, i went to doreamon world!:))all-time favourite! SUPER adorable! more sightseeing and cultural infusion later and went to shilin night market later in the evening. more smelly tofu, enormous fried chicken fillet, bubble tea and many more!

day8: rode the high speed bullet rail to taoyuan and took a bus to the airport for transfer to hong kong.

day9 and 10: free and easy in hong kong. my uncle brought us around-eat and shop and eat and shop! dim sum, buoluo bread, milk tea, seafood and "xu liu shan" mango desserts!(YUMS)

home sweet home!

conclusion is tired but superr happy:D daddy spent major lotsa money. being techno savvy, he bought a home-theatre system and a psp( is purple in colour!!) cool trip with unique experiences. actually quite cool having to change hotel every single day and i stayed at 8 different hotels throughout the whole trip! heh. missing the sweet castor apples and nice food already...

Had lotsa fun shopping and presents-searching with sis today!:) mega sense of satisfaction as we hopped from chinatown to raffles city then to suntec. hur hur:) bought a pair of glittery flats and a huge shades for myself and one pastel green jacket, one personalized pouch and a uber-adorable bear for jess and hy :) the bear is from build-a-bear workshop and is simply adorable. it is my first time "buiding" a bear and the staff kinda treat me like a young girl and told me to comb the bear's fur and everything.lol! but nevertheless, soft toys cheers me up big time!

and guess what, is starbucks day today!!!we din know about it and indeed a sweet coincidence! had caramel mocha while sis had her java chip:D lurve the feeeling of shopping without having to worry about exams! woohoo:) and i am looking forward to hy 21st tmr! as usual, excited over fren's 21st bday parties. yeahness! back to shows and more shows!lalalala

gosh is close to 4am already and i have to wake up at 8am later and drag myself to ntu for some work:( but no choice cos i have to finsh the work before my long awaited taiwan trip. shall try and finish all the work tmr and i can sleep in later for the other days:)

i always thought as close frens, we can be direct and frank with one another but sometimes, i did not put myself in other's shoes and realised that people have problems and they do prefer to keep quiet about it and that there will be a limit to jokes. I did not realise that behind their happy exterior, they will be actually feeling sad and emotional inside. i promise to be subtle in my words and be sensitive in future instead of bugging people for answers. dumbness.

i had to blog about a terrible experience that happened to me this evening. when i was about to leave my house, it started to pour and never did i know the construction works for the lift will cause a massive flood! and seriously, the word massive is an understatement! i was literally soaking my feet in the 8cm high muddy water:( felt so upset and helpless. and the worse part came when i was waiting for the bus. the whole bus stop was crazily flooded and i had to stand on the seat to wait for my bus, yeah is that bad:(

never seen such a scene before with muddy water gushing down the slope to the bus stop. coincidentally my sis alighted from her bus back home and she could not walk properly with her slippers in the pool. she ended up having one of her slippers floating down the muddy pool and she had to walk home in a undesirable state too. and expectedly, i was laughing really hard when i saw her slipper float down to the main road! the expression on her face is priceless!

spent the whole afternoon with 3 girls doing our final com206 video. yeah, NOW i know why producer can spent so much effort and time on a production. is seriously no joke when we braved through the scorching afternoon and the rocky terrain with literally tons of mosquitoes!!! beads of pespiration trickled down our faces continuosly and countless mosquitoe bites:( but it got better as the time passes, maybe cos we are more immuned to the heat and bites already:)
but it kinda pains me when i saw the number of mosquitoe bites on the actors! really felt so bad esp when they are all so accomodating to our demands! i wanna thank GUOJUN,HUIYING,CANDICE,SHARLYN and SANDY for making the video possible! sincerely thank you!:)) really appreciated the help!

went for dinner after that at can A and as usual, went gaga over the macs monopoly! but this time round i koped my frens' tokens instead cos i forgoed macs for my beloved subway!:)ohhh, not to mention the nice dinner with muffins at jurong safra, Ishi Mura on monday, more of a mini bday celebration for ruijie:D nice and super affordable jap food there, will definitely go back and eat their jap pancaake again:) maybe next monday for dinner again:) wahaha!

had a bad dream of many ferocious monkeys came attacking in the middle of the night harming many of the residents in my household. i was so terrified and I kept running and running:( yeah such a strange nightmare..lol!

jeri was talking about her mac monopoly game obsession during fyp meeting yest and I decided to eat mac with her for dinner so that i could give her more game tokens:) but in the end, i ended up playing the game and was kinda going gaga over it..lol! if only i could get the sentosa cove token!!! but i bet everyone is eyeing the sentosa cove token cos it means a good $50,000 cash reward! woah! mac is quite smart to come up with this game to entice pple to eat more mac and (become fat)..haha...i cannot afford to but looking at how jeri eat mac almost everyday, i am really amazed! u go girl!hee:)

yupp as the title suggests, i went to the night safari just last fri!!:) it was hall 15 halloween celebration:D the horror trail was quite scary esp the sudden scares from the staff (always when u least expect it):P but it was really fun walking ard the night safari all over again after a good 10 years:) and with frens dressing up and making up, the whole atmosphere was indeed much spook-ier and halloween-ier!cools

joyce is so screwed cos she went out and slacked the weekends off:( makes it worse when she does her work at an incredibly-slow pace.

i blogged almost daily when i first started this blog but it has became like one entry in every 3 days :P blahhh maybe cos my school life is kinda repetitve with not much things to blog about in general..but i will keep memoire-facade alive!:)

watched two movies-UP and coffin today:)UP is indeed nice and the plot is quite cute with a heartwarming, happy ending like all other kind of cartoons. didn't want to watch coffin initially but cos my mum became so excited over the show, i decided to watch it with her. coffin has quite a sophisicated plot or maybe cos i missed the important scenes when i dozed off for quite a few times into the show. like the normal horror shows, there are the inevitable sudden scares as well.
hmmm, i am so not ready for tmr super long day:( a 3 hr long seminar (yeah, the scary one) followed closely by my com206 make up lesson and then camping in front of the bloomberg terminal for 2-3 hrs for fyp (all with no breaks in between):(
something to look forward will be a hall 15 night safari halloween trip:) i rmb i visited the night safari when i was really young when i tugged at my dad's pocket for a tram ride :D so it is back reliving the night safari days tmr!:D heard that there will be a scary halloween walk! behold!haha:)

i am totally addicted to mr bean's soya milk! welcome soya bean and pink dolphin to my happiness-trigger list:D sounds weird tho.lol

Went to 2am @dessertbar for suann's 21st last Saturday:) the theme was chill like the sixties and i wore somewhat like a swing kinda skirt and a super act cute pink ribbon:D never been there before and the place is really cool to chill and relax:D had lotsa fun there with all my dressed-up-to-sixties peeps and not to mention the deliciously crispy finger food and superly exquisite desserts (yums:P) cool bday u have there!:D

feeling the guilt from eating so much ice cream yesterday at benten:( haha but nevertheless, the company was great! and i am very grateful towards kenneth, guojun, hilda and suann for agreeing to be my "models" for my 206 photo assignment. i know it is not easy to freeze there and wait for my cues so really appreciate all ya effort! thankew:) and thanks to others who have helped in one way or another...LOL! i feel like i am reciting my thank you speech at stars awards:D haha...but that aside, the photos are simply awesome!:) shall upload them soon!

raining cats and dogs now, shall postpone my tanning plans to maybe tmr:) wahahaha..i shld be studying for my mid-terms now...yeah, when all the scribblings and words on my notes seem so foreign to me..keeping my fingers crossed :S i need a surge of strength and gush of motivation to overcome them now...haha (drama!):D

Phew, finally i am done with my com204 assignment 2. deadline was supposed to be 2359 but i kinda handed in half an hour late:( hopeee my prof is okie with it. last minute work is so bad and stressful..blahhh..have to "gai guo zhi xin" le:(

Next up will be my com206 assignment:) somehow i really love doing com206 assignments, i feel so achieved after each assignment and i definitely learnt to be a better photographer. hohoho!

Tomorrow will be my last day in banking and finance club officially! really enjoyed working with the fabulous committee for the past one year:) made great frens too! all in all, 3rd bafc committee rawks!:) woohoo, we will be stepping down in 10 hours time!

sometimes my dreams seem so real that even when i wake up, i will still be thinking whether did that really happen! kinda scary especially when it is not a totally pleasant dream but all is well when i am bounced back into reality:)

sigh, recess week just ran past, no, sprinted past me:( there are so many things i wanted to do but they are still left undone! rarrr...interviews undone, tutorials undone, revision undone, assignments undone and other non-academic stuff (like shopping for my jacket) undone:( rarrrr...soon in a few more hours, it will be back to the 4 day school week with in-between lessons LONG breaks. yeah, i have 3 hours break in between lessons on mon and tue. haha...but glad that there are some events worth looking forward to:)

i am facebooking, blogging, online shopping and random surfing net when i am supposed to be studying...blahhh...no wonder my sis always says uni seems so slack! haha..wait till she enters next yr:)

1st october!:) children's day...so far fetched from me but if there is present dropping from nowhere for me, i will still happily grab it and show them my "eight-teeth" smile:D haha..cos it is said that a child looks the best and innocent when they show only eight of their teeth when they smile:) yeah how cute!lol happy children's day to all little children! and happy october-ing!(grins widely):D

fun bday celebration for twin! first, we combed toa payoh central and bought a lot of random and japalang food ranging from koi cafe bubble tea, ichiban sushi mochi and sushi to old chang kee goodies:) then we went to the sky garden near toa payoh central as suggested by the bday girl! the sky garden is super cool! good place to htht and chill with frens. yeah, ate our japalang food there and chatted "our hearts out" thoughout the night! glad that twinnie likes my presents. have a blessed bday girl!(hugs):))

P.S: ichiban sushi mochi is superrr niceee!:))

happy to have a nice tan after my regular swimming sessions:) haha but the tanline is kinda ugly:( boos

went out for dinner with muffins at iluma. ate this nice crayfish pastalamian! indeed a very gd blend of western and eastern fusion:) will definitely go back and eat provided that i am loaded with cash or at least feel "rich" or getting treats:) wahahaha...

speaking of cash, i am in the state of broke-ness:( have been transferring funds to satisfy my online shopping craves, getting pressies for beloved frens whose bday happen to all fall in the months of oct and nov and not forgetting meals and food to keep me sustainable:( kinda scared to look at my account balance now...on a happier note, i still have h2h pay uncollected and some funds here and there uncollected:) haha! have to exercise self-restrain now! (breathe in and out)

Nice and cool muffin outing during the start of recess week apart from the terrible scares from the movie! well, i dun tink i am gonna watch scary shows anytime soon cos this one really freaked me out:( was terribly scared when i walked home all alone just now cos my usual bus has terminated :'( was super startled when this guy just walked past me all of a sudden! my heart literally dropped out!

tink i kind of overstrained my right arm's muscle cos it hurts for the past few days (maybe cos i pulled the ligament unknowingly) :( but still, i am back into liking swimming again:) maybe cos of my new gorgeous purple googles and the after-swim nice tan (have to swim between 12noon to 2pm to achieve the tan):D woohoo!

realised my one and only bronze medal at home is the one i got when i took part in st nicks's swimming competition :)

though i stay in bishan, i hardly go shopping in j8...went over this afternoon to shop for mooncakes at the mooncake exhibition held there. bought mini crispy mooncakes from east ocean in the end. abit heartpain cos is really kinda ex:( but is really nice and my family members esp love them..ha! i am such a nice daughter:D LOL

mid autumn is so cool when I was young back then cos all the kids in my neighbourhood will have a latern walk around the housing estates. and i was one of the rare ones who held the kind of paper traditional laterns when most of the kids held battery-operated ones.haha and we will all sing the "lantern song":) surprisingly, none of my frens know the "latern song"!!but i dun mind giving tuition for this "latern song":) want want?haha
mid autumn now= eating mooncakes and pomelos every other day in the month. big contrast:D

when i decided to be hardworking and do something productive today, my aunty asked me to bring her daughter to swimming class cos she had something on..ha ha..i am the baby-sitter for the whole day...and sitting by the poolside watching the little kids learn swimming really reminds me of the days when i was a kid learning swimming:) still remember the time i cried so badly in the toilet when i failed my first bronze swim test..heh..but i passed the gold award in the end,haha..(shows smug face):D thanks to my dad who encourage me i felt like giving up..(cos the coach is super fierce:( and loves to train us in the middle of the deep pool)

Supposed to prepare for ministerial forum for the whole of yesterday but ended up sitting in the nanyang audi staring into blank space:( such a waste of time and should not have skipped lecture in the first place. nevertheless, ministerial forum was indeed insightful and is my first time watching PM Lee upfront addressing the forum in his usual witty yet interesting style:) so cool yeah!ha ha

yesterday was kinda a bad day apart from the forum. felt so tired the whole day and kept wanting to sit down and not do anything. heh, prolly is the aftermath of working in comex over the weekend. shall get some sleep soon :D

am looking fwd to the BAFC anniversary dinner on Saturday and MAF celebration next week:)

ended my weekend comex work craze..saw through the true colours of some people, well shall not mention names here.but i am quite disgusted by how they can stoop to such low levels to gain more sales for themselves at the expense of their frens, is money all that matters?eeks:( as for myself, though i did not do a great job but kinda satisfied le, maybe cos it has well covered my cabbing splurges for the last few weeks...gonna say no to cabs!heh...my feet are freaking aching right now:(

been rather troubled by what u said yesterday and was kinda emo for the entire day. i really dun know what i shld do or not do to make u less upset and i really hope this is something trivial and will not affect our frenship. cos i really treasure it.

hope things can turn for the better:) many,many things...hope u two can break the ice and start talking cos it is really very sad seeing u two giving each other the cold shoulder. well, everything can be settled right? smile and laugh and talk like u two always do.
